Day 5 and Jordan is already opening his eyes
like a goldfish. Elaine's parents have been staying with us since his birth. On this particular day Jordan was the most alert that we've seen. He sat contently in his "bouncer" for about 45 minutes without making a sound aside from an occasional fart or two. That's brings up another item. His farts really stink. Although the Chinese culture puts "blame" on the mother, medically there's no connection with the mother's diet and the baby's intestinal issues. We just have to do a better job with burping Jordan after each feeding. The extra 10 minutes of burping time will spare our nasal senses so it will be well worth the time. :)
